What are we looking for:

We are looking for an organized production coordinator based in Europe (ideally Paris/France) to oversee our videos for both the Yes Theory and Seek Discomfort Channel. The production coordinator will be the key figure behind the execution of our videos, guaranteeing things run smoothly from start to finish, ensuring that the production has the right partners, follows the planned schedule, budget and the overall feeling of our videos.

To be a successful production coordinator in Yes Theory, you must be a natural problem solver, able to work under pressure, deal with a fast changing environment in an organized way, be proactive and have excellent communication skills.

What You’ll be working on:

Make the productions behind our videos come to life by -

  • Research and manage the execution of the productions behind video ideas;
  • Reach out to potential partners, fixers and companies that can help execute video concepts or offer value to Yes Theory;
  • Performing management activities such as overseeing budgeting, scheduling and planning;
  • Guarantee a consistent inflow of video ideas coming from the team;
  • Organize all logistics needed to film the videos;
  • Orchestrating with partners through phone calls & emails;

You probably are a good fit if you are

  • Passionate and understanding of Youtube and of telling incredible stories;
  • Excellent in time management and in possession of a great sense of urgency.
  • Flexible and resilient. Able to deliver in and adjust to fast changing scenarios;
  • Able to multitask in an organized way, working on several productions at the same time;
  • Excellent with communication - both written and spoken;
  • A problem solver with a proven track record delivering projects, events, productions, etc.
  • Someone that understands in depth what makes a Yes Theory or Seek Discomfort video.

    *Prior experience in the film industry or YouTube is appreciated but not required.

Work Sample:

Imagine that we have an idea to film a video where Thomas is Abandoned with an African Tribe for 72h - the intention behind the video is to document the experience through the lens of Yes Theory. A lot of production work is needed to make that happen and we'd love to know how you'd tackle this (where would it be, which tribe, how would you reach out, who would you work with, where would we stay, etc.). Please provide a document on how you would approach the production of this story from start to end and the reasoning behind it.
